◈ I don’t have a reference image; can I describe the character instead?

Yes, as long as you are able to provide all the necessary info!
Ideally, please include specifics like species, colors (can be a specific palette hex/image or just a description), & anything else you would like to see such as gender, personality, mood, etc. I’m happy to send sketches throughout the process to make sure the artwork fits your description.
No extra cost.

◈ Can I give you a rough doodle to work off / Can I redmark or draw over your progress shot to explain exactly how I would like tweaks?

Yes, feel free to direct & nitpick as long as it’s not excessive. I’d love to get your character as accurate as possible.

◈ I really like a particular art piece you've posted, can I get a commission done in a similar style/pose?

Yes, as long as it would not plagiarize the original characters or ideas of another client or myself.

◈ If I order a shaded piece, can I also get a version with no shading & just the flat color?

Absolutely, just let me know! I will likely send one as a progress check-in anyway.

◈ Do you offer a discounted rate for multiple characters within one scene?

Generally no, drawing multiple characters in one scene is just as much work for me.
However, I would likely be open to a discount if the character was very small, far away, or otherwise not as detailed.

◈ Do you accept Deviantart Points/Robux/other currencies besides USD?

I do not accept Robux.
I do not usually accept DA Points, but feel free to DM me and we might be able to work something out; no guarantees.
If I accepted DA Points, it would need to be roughly equivalent to the USD cost of the art.

◈ I bought a previous commission and have since updated the character; can I order an edit to the existing artwork?

Absolutely! Price would depend on how extensive of an edit you’re asking for, but I am definitely open to doing edits & would love to do it for as little cost as possible.

◈ Do you design custom characters?

Yes! Prices vary, but it will likely be similar to the cost of a typical artwork + a bit extra for the design process.

◈ Do you do character reference sheets?

Yes!
Price is based on the number & type of artwork in the sheet (e.g. a reference sheet with one fullbody + two headshots would cost the same as if you commissioned those normally).
Small details like color palette, design notes, & text are free.
Small accessories are likely free unless they are extensive and/or detailed.

◈ Are there any species or characters you don’t draw?

I generally do not draw character styles heavily based on My Little Pony, Pokemon, or other fandoms/styles that I am unfamiliar with.
However, I am willing to draw the characters in my usual style. For example, I will draw your MLP character as a regular horse.
